Our Wish List

The below items will greatly help our shelter clients and our client service center:

  • Diapers & wipes sizes (any size but there is a particular need for 4, 5 & 6)

  • Paper Towels

  • Disinfectant spray & wipes

  • Hand soap

  • Disposable latex-free gloves

  • Feminine hygiene products

  • New toiletries: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste, deodorant, etc.

Would you consider a financial contribution?

Your help will off-set new and increased expenses to provide services in this era of COVID-19:

  • Web chatting and texting for survivors seeking help

  • Phone and internet costs

  • Document electronic signature service

  • Staff time to research and implement new policies surrounding video conferencing and counseling and client services

  • Supplies and other services needed for victims of violence

SPD Markets in Grass Valley and Nevada City have joined with eScrip to bring us this benefit.

How To Set Up & Use SPD Rewards Program:

​

  • Fill out this form and bring it to either SPD location.

  • You can also ask any SPD cashier for the form.

  • They will give you a SPD community card.

  • Present your card or give the cashier your phone number.

Community Beyond Violence is a drop-off point for working and broken smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

We donate working devices to our clients and staff. We get a small monetary donation for recycling broken ones.

How To Donate Your Working or Non-Working Device:

Cars For Charity is a vehicle donation program for non-profits. They take any vehicle (cars, trucks, motorcycles, even farm equipment) running or not.

​

Community Beyond Violence will receive 100% of the proceeds!

How To Donate A Vehicle To Cars For Charity:

​

  • Go to the Cars For Charity website.

  • You can start the vehicle donation process through their easy to use online donation wizard forms.

  • You can also call them at (888) 755-5435.

No smog certificate is necessary and they can solve almost all title issues. They will also pick up!
