Our COVID-19 Response

How We Keep You & Our Staff Safe

Love

Now more than ever, we are committed to the health and safety of our clients, community members, staff and volunteers.

The following is an outline of temporarily modified services in order to prioritize the health of our clients and staff in how we provide services during this concerning time.

*** Please note this is a working plan and we continue to change and

adapt as new information arises.***

  • Our walk-in client service center is still open and available to victims/survivors of violence who need crisis intervention.

    • However, we are prioritizing the health of our community members so our emphasis is shifting from in person contact to phone contact as much as possible, modified of course by client danger level and circumstance.

  • Web chat and texting is now available.

  • Educational support groups are now online via a group conferencing platform.

  • Individual therapy and counseling appointments have shifted to phone and video contact.

  • Prevention programs have moved entirely online.

    • Community members are still meeting and working over video conferencing to create solutions to violence.

  • Our emergency shelter is still fully operational.

    • Plans and policies have been put into place to maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff alike.

  • Feeling overwhelmed by all of it?

    • Call, text or chat with one of our advocates!

  • Check out Love Is Louder â€‹which provides 24/7 support for these challenging times.
