No Outing
"Outing" or threatening to reveal a person's sexual orientation/gender identity may be used as a tool of abuse in violent relationships and can also be a barrier to getting help.
  • Our services are strictly confidential - you will not be outed.

No Othering
"Othering" refers to discriminating against someone based on their identity. We will  not make assumptions. For example, we do not assume heterosexuality as normative. We will also ask and respect our client's chosen pronouns and/or name.
