April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). On April 23rd, we are excited to bring Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues to Nevada County. The play addresses women’s sexuality and the social stigma surrounding rape and abuse. It literally puts women’s deepest, most intimate stories on the stage, so more women can feel seen, heard, and loved. The play is traditionally produced as a fundraiser for rape crisis centers, and it is directly connected to the work we do to support survivors of violence in our community.
